When the going gets tough, the tough get bobbling.
Spanish wind conglomerate Gamesa announced it’s issuing commemorative Tyrone Borough Council Bobble Heads. The bobble heads are shaped in the exacting likeness of Tyrone borough council members from the gape-mouths to the constantly-agreeing head action.
Gamesa Spokesperson Ellen Marcellus Espinoza stated that these bobble heads will only shake their heads back and forth and not side to side like conventional bobble heads, a move to symbolize the now historic reaction that Council had after Gamesa’s last $150,000 per year offer.
“We tried to get the manufacturer to make their tongues hang out and salivate, but that would have bumped up production costs,” Espinoza said. “And our vast subsidies only go so far–to Spain, specifically.”
The bobble heads aren’t just toys, council members indicate they’ll be useful.
If council members are absent their personalized bobble head may be substituted for voting purposes. The “Yes” vote can be activated by waving dollars bills in front of the dolls sensors. (These rules may only be initiated in reaction to issues introduced by Gamesa.)
The doll also puts out roughly the same energy that an industrial wind turbine is capable of producing in a day and, if thrown hard enough, the bobble-heads can kill large birds, including raptors, Espinoza said.
According to Espinoza, residents can expect a line of Snyder Township planning commission bobble heads.
“We’re having a little trouble since there is no planning commission,” Espinoza said. “We thought some fairy tale creatures like lawn gnomes, pixies, and trolls might work, though. Maybe a cave man?”
Orders can be placed online or at the Borough Offices.

This is so sad it’s true, or is it so true it’s sad?
Either way, thanks for your take…after all the hard work to present the views of windmills and the problems, the frustration level for everyone in Tyrone must be through the roof right now! Thanks for your posting this!

Maybe council members should be able to use their personalized bobbleheads as special parking permits. When the meter reader guy sees a council bobblehead standing on the dashboard of the car beside an expired parking meter, he’ll know to pass on by — that council person must be hard at work investigating . . . something.

How about baseball cards for the Snyder Township planning commission? Picture on the front — with a quote — and voting average on the back. Of course, you’d have to have REALLY good bubblegum in the package too.

LATCHFORD… undoubtedly.
He only cares about his office cubical, apparently.

I for one have tried to help Snyder Township in some of their projects, so no it was not me that said that about them.

Deb….What a shame you have decided to go the route of masquerading as me to try and hurt me…For Shame…That is even below you I assumed…But I was wrong. That is a very slippery slope.

Deb…are you Bill’s fictitious girlfriend? Why would you try to hurt him? He does it to himself daily.

Bill…What a shame you do not reciprocate my love…For shame Antonio… That thou art above me… Alas I am forsaken. Down the slippery slope I descend!!! Woe is me!

This is a great website. Too funny! I’m laughing but also sad to see Tyrone’s greed and and the seeds of its demise.

You guys are the greatest. Keep up the good work. Although the wind farm poll was probably fraudulent, I think that council will run with it tomorrow.

Paranoia is rampant among borough council in Tyrone. I’m glad I live outside borough limits. What a bunch of sickos.
