"They are occupiers," said Thomas. "Itty, teeny, weeny, little occupiers, but occupiers nonetheless." Thomas, who has served as the wicked witch of the West Wing since the Johnson administration--the Andrew Johnson administration--has had an ongoing feud with the munchkins. She cites their parliamentary democracy and the crushing of her sister with a house as reasons for her hatred of little people. Willie, leader of the Anti-Defamunchkin League, asked Thomas to apologize for her statements. "You don't hear us saying they should exterminate old bitches that have long out-lived any purpose, do you?" Willie asked. "She's still looking for the teletype in the White House." Thomas suggested that the munchkins could leave Munchkinland and seek refuge in Poland, or Germany. "They would be safe there," said Thomas. "I mean, it's not like they're Jews or anything."
